This drawing was a very quick, sketchy drawing I did on the back of a placemat at a dinner I went to with my husband. He liked it so much he asked me to frame it. I did and it hangs on our living room wall, along with the deer above.
I love to draw. Of every medium in art, drawing is my favorite, if only because you can draw anywhere, with any number of tools and materials. Some regard drawing as a precursor to greater mediums such as painting or printmaking, but I disagree. I think drawing is a wonderful medium that can stand on its own merit.
